Our Story

Karri Bellamy

There is something about the connection between a horse and rider that is irreplaceable. When the spark ignites, a fire burns in your heart and soul. For me, this feeling started when I was three years old. Only with the influence of Spirit, a DreamWorks Animation movie, I decided I was going to become a horse trainer.

Fast Tracked

By age 15, I received the Triple Crown JYR PRO Scholarship, and at 16 I founded the ERA of NA Prelim to Pro Team Championships. At 17, I was generously sponsored by Triple Crown Nutrition in a clinic with Grand Prix rider and trainer Felicitas von Nuemann-Cosel. At 18 I was named on the Under 18 USEF Emerging Athlete Program awarded to ten individuals throughout the United States.

Entrepreneurship

While I was heavily involved in the equestrian community, I also valued the importance of business. In May of 2018, I earned my degree in Business Administration with a minor in Honors. Through a handful of internships with entrepreneurs, I was inspired to start my own company. From there, I founded Carry on Connections. My goal was to intertwine the equestrian world with my knowledge of business.

Carry on Connections was built on the ethics and morals that have been ingrained in my upbringing. We are your representative to bridge the gap between companies, riders and sponsorships. All relationships hold an endless potential.

Building Connections

"Working with Carry on Connections has given me the opportunity to transition my career from ameuter to professional. She creates a path where I can financially expand my business while maintaining a reputable name."

~ Caroline Martin, 2018, USEA Lady Rider of the Year

My career continued with a company based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania called Straight Arrow Products. They manufacture the well renowned grooming products, Mane ‘n Tail, Cowboy Magic and Exhibitor’s. I am fortunate to continue representing them as I train under top professionals in the equine world.

When I committed my life to training horses, there came a time when my Public Relations business, Carry on Connections was put on the back burner. But that same spark that burned bright for horses was still there for PR work. I stepped up to meet the need of a boots on the ground representative. The saying goes, if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life. While that is true, I wholeheartedly love my work. We put our pride in representing companies and inspiring others to reach for their goals.
